ABOUT B.A.T.C.H.

B.A.T.C.H. is an ACCOLADE Celebrations initiative created to respond to the homeless in the local community. Bags-to-go are assembled at a BATCH site and include

basic necessities and local resource information. Bags are then distributed to homeless individuals and shelters for the homeless in the area.

WHAT'S IN THE BAG

Bags-to-go include: outreach materials (e.g., free services, food/clothing  banks. shelters, worship service & events) and basic necessities donated by the community (e.g., toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand wipes, tissues, socks, trail-mix, bottled water and deodorant)

Timeframes set to

receive donations (1-2 Weeks)

and BATCH (4-5 hrs.)

Advertise the BATCH event and request donations and volunteers

(This is an opportunity to earn PVS and community service hrs.)

BATCH to-go-bags with resources and materials are assembled at a distribution site

BATCH to-go-bags are distributed to local homeless individuals and shelters in the area
